Our Workplace

Denise R., OT | Wellston
"Family comes first" is the reason I love this company so much. This is the message I received during a time when my RVPO was supporting me through personal health issues. Because of this support I was able to serve my patients completely. I am so proud of my facility; we have a full-fledged kitchen and a great gym. The team player spirit is great; we help each other all the time, share new ideas and treatments, co-treat back and forth between disciplines, and we all gather in the kitchen for cooking groups.

Linda K., TPM/PTA | Skyline Manor
I came from a not so great company, so I feel very fortunate to be working at Skyline Manor. We are a very homespun facility located in the middle of nowhere. There is no nursing vs. rehab here, the healthcare team and rehab team partner together to cater to our patients and our community. We have patients who have graduated that keep coming back just to say hi. I love this company, the staff, the facility and the nursing staff; everyone is so wonderful and this makes it easy to come to work everyday. Being located in a remote location does not mean I feel left out. I have a group of dedicated professionals who support me and always respond very quickly to any questions I may have.

Tod K., OT | Pheasant Ridge
In my area there are at least 10 other places I could work, but I choose to drive an hour each way to work at Pheasant Ridge, I can not imagine working any place else. My colleagues are my work family and I truly look forward to coming to work every day. My team looks out for each other and we work excellent together. Our team focus is to meet the resident’s needs. Since we have such a positive and upbeat team, the residents gravitate to the therapy department and look forward to seeing what is going on in therapy! The support we receive from the corporate based staff is awesome. Any issues that may arise are easily resolved by a phone call or e-mail. Knowing that we have a team of dedicated professionals watching over us allows me to focus on what is important to me; meeting my resident’s needs.

Bill R., PTA | CHC of Jacksonville
As a PTA student I had the opportunity to choose where to complete my clinical affiliation at a couple of places. I ultimately chose Ambassador Rehab’s therapy department at CHC of Jacksonville because I knew I needed to do my observation in a clinical setting. My experience was incredible; I had a great clinical instructor who gave me the opportunity to learn many different things, it was awesome hands on experience and I liked the environment. I was impressed with the staff in the therapy department. They were all thoughtful, sensitive and patient with me during my training. They are a very dynamic team. What sold me on joining the company as an employee was the length of time the staff has been with the company. I was amazed, especially seeing other companies which have such high turnover.

Evelyn F., TPM/PTA | CHC of West Altamonte
I’m happy to be associated with a company that takes pride in being ethical and fair. My team is awesome; every team member is passionate about patient care, driven, high spirited and we truly get along well. The nursing staff is encouraging and supportive of patients reaching their therapy goals. I’m so lucky to be part of such great facility that is clean, bright and cheerful.

Eunice S., SLP/AMO | Maitland, FL | Operations
I have had the unique opportunity serve in many roles during my 10 years with the company. In my current role as Area Manager I feel so fortunate to have the ability to utilize all of my PT/OT/SLP employees skill sets to draw from, the clinicians are such a valuable resource to have access too. Because of my many resources, I never feel like I’m in this alone. The compassion for patients and the willingness to go above and beyond to care for patients is what Ambassador Rehab is all about. I feel like this is where I belong and everyone feels like a member of my family. I’ve never felt this way about another company.

Maribel V., OT | CHC of Kissimmee
I’ve been working for this company since December 1999. During this time I have grown not only as a professional but as a person. I have found a family at Ambassador Rehab. Caring therapists and outstanding leaders who go above and beyond to provide quality services and help patients achieve their highest level of performance. The leadership cares for the staff and encourages us to be the best at all times. I am proud to say I belong to the "Ambassador Rehab Family."

Sue M., TPM | CHC of North Fort Myers
I feel very fortunate to work with a Rehab team that possess excellent clinical skills, enjoys working with a variety of patients with unique needs, and is able to think "outside the box," while maintaining a great working relationship. The therapists are hard working and complement each others’ clinical knowledge. We have a great working relationship with our facility’s Administrator and our Rehab physician. We conduct weekly rounds with the physician and he is a strong advocate of our Rehab department. My team believes in sharing our continuing education experiences that Ambassador Rehab provides and makes possible for us to attend. The company offers us competitive pay and benefits and supports us with a team of experts in the Rehab field to guide us and make us feel appreciated.

Samantha W., PTA | CHC of Lake Parker
I’ve been at CHC of Lake Parker for over 10 years. My facility is the best! Not only do we have a great view of the lake but we have a great team to boot. Our team works well together because we are all cooperative, flexible and friendly. We’re all committed to providing the best possible therapy to our residents and work well together to accomplish this. I especially like the support that we receive from the various departments. I know if I have a problem to resolve, I can place a phone call and a friendly voice on the other end of the phone will take care of the issue. Knowing that I have a support system that I can depend on allows me to concentrate on caring for my patients.

Angie W., OT | CHC of Chattanooga
I’ve been with the company for 10 years and have always felt a sense being in a family centered setting which makes work more enjoyable. I love the fact that my department has consistent staff and I’ve enjoyed working with the same co-workers for such a long time. My co-workers are committed, fun, happy, patient oriented and caring team of people. During my time with the company, I’ve been supported for both professional and personal issues.
