Veronique J Keller, PT | Division President of Ambassador Rehabilitative Services
Veronique was appointed as Division President of Ambassador Rehabilitative Services
in November 2006. She most recently served as Vice President of Operations overseeing
the management of Rehabilitation Services in the states of Virginia, Tennessee and
Pennsylvania with Tandem Rehabilitation. Prior to joining Tandem Rehab, Veronique
was Vice President of Operations with NovaCare Inc. where she provided strategic
and operational leadership in Florida, Illinois, Indiana and in the Pacific Northwest.
Veronique earned a US equivalent Masters in Physical Therapy from the Catholic University
of Louvain, Belgium. She holds a PT license in the states of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana,
Florida, Wisconsin and Virginia.
Cindy Garner, OTR/L Regional Vice President of Operations, Northern Region
Cindy has been an Occupational Therapist since 1979. A graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden
Connecticut, Cindy has been involved in long term care for 22 years. First a staff
therapist, then OT director, Cindy became a rehab director in 1991. She has worked
for a variety of long term care companies and first joined Tandem Healthcare as
a PRN therapist. From there she moved into the role of clinical specialist, then
to AMO and RVPO for the Columbus region with responsibility for external and internal
customers under the direction of Veronique Keller.
Shakima Nesbitt, MA, CCC-SLP Regional Vice President of
Operations, Mid-Atlantic Region
Shakima received her Bachelors and Masters Degree from Hampton University located
in Hampton, VA, and has been a therapist for 14 years. She is Vital Stim Certified
and has been involved in Long Term Care for 9 years. Shakima joined the company
in 2001 as Staff Speech-Language Pathologist at the Newport News facility. From
there she was promoted to DOR, AMO and currently holds the RVPO position for the
Mid-Atlantic region.
Tammy Whitehead, OTR/L Regional Vice President of Operations, Florida
Region
For the past 12 years, Ms. Whitehead has specialized in geriatrics in both the sub
acute and long-term care settings. Her background in geriatrics includes specialized
training in vision rehab programs that are utilized in the SNF setting to improve
quality of life to the residents who have suffered from visual deficits due to various
medical conditions. Ms. Whitehead earned a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Art
degree in Occupational Therapy from Touro College in New York. She holds licenses
in New York and Florida. Ms. Whitehead is a long term, active member of both the
American Occupational Therapy Association and the American Diabetes Association.
She was promoted to the role of Regional Vice President of Operations for Florida
in 2007. Her multiple roles with the company include Therapy Program Manager.
Vickie Briggs, OTR/L Quality Assurance Director
Vickie has been an Occupational Therapist since January of 1989 and graduated from
The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Allied Medical Profession
with a major in Occupational Therapy. Vickie served as an area manager for In-House
Rehab from 2005-2006 and after a brief hiatus returned to Ambassador Rehab as a
QA Manager for the external division before being promoted to Quality Assurance
Director in August of 2007. Vickie started as a treating therapist and worked her
way through management as a therapy program manager, area manager, and now QA.
Becky Gant, PHR HR Director
Becky began her career in management and human resources with AT&T, where she was employed for over 20 years in various HR roles. PHR certified, Becky joined Ambassador Rehabilitative Services in 2003 where she continually ensures that all HR initiatives and functions are administered and supported effectively. She is a dedicated and tireless professional who motivates the workforce by developing, executing and evaluating human resource programs, processes and systems that support the needs of the employee.
